Welcome to my Web site!
Hello everyone and welcome. My name is
Christopher Loewen and I am a chemistry teacher at Bay Shore High School. I
earned a dual Bachelors of Science at SUNY Oswego in Chemistry and secondary
education. I received my Masters at Dowling College. I have been teaching
chemistry at Bay Shore since 1999. Besides teaching chemistry I am also the
head coach for the Science Olympiad Team at Bay Shore High School which is
one of my great joys as a teacher. Starting in the summer of 2009, I was
given the opportunity of interning at Brookhaven National Lab for three
summers which I am very proud of this prestigious honor.
